
Psychometrics is the scientific approach to measuring psychological variables and constructs. I have been designing, validating, and testing new measures of psychological concepts for over 20 years, starting with the measure of health-related control beliefs that formed the basis of my PhD research.
This work has resulted in the creation of several validated research tools. Select scales are available to researchers via the Research Tools page. Publications outlining the psychometric testing of other scales are listed below.
